About Medical Insurance and Claims

Yes, our clinics accept accident insurance, group medical insurance, individual medical insurance, labor insurance and travel insurance.

Typically, the clinic provides both pain management and accident injury treatments. Additionally, it features osteopathic therapy, allowing patients to receive skeletal and muscle (soft tissue relaxation and training) treatments in one location.

Claims procedures are subject to any provisions of various insurance companies and insurance plan. In some cases, patients can file a claim upon their visit to chiropractors or practitioners while some insurance company may request a doctor referral given by general medical practitioners for spinal or physical therapy.

Most accident insurance plans generally include coverage for related examinations (such as X-rays) and associated treatment costs, although the amounts and terms may vary. If a referral letter from a Western medicine practitioner is needed, patients should explain the details of the injury to their general practitioner, including 1) the time of the injury, 2) the location, and 3) the nature of the injury (e.g., sprain, fall, etc.). If there are any visible marks, they should be mentioned during the examination.

Some insurance companies require claim forms to be filled out by general medical practitioners. Please contact your insurance agent for details.

About Physiotherapy Therapy

Physiotherapy is a conservative treatment method that enhances the body's healing capacity while preventing further injury. Its primary focus is on alleviating pain, promoting healing, functional rehabilitation, and adapting to sports injuries, along with mechanical training of the body.
Both physiotherapy and chiropractic care are conservative treatment methods that aim to treat conditions without injections, medications, or surgery. They also utilize supportive therapeutic devices to address muscle and joint pain. The differences are:
  1. Chiropractors are independent of the traditional medical system
  2. Chiropractic care specializes in scientific therapies, diagnosis, and improvement of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems.
  3. Chiropractors employ unique spinal adjustment techniques related to pain management.
  4. Physiotherapy typically requires a referral from a physician, while chiropractic care does not.
Healing time varies for each individual. However, we usually assess patients' progress within two weeks. Physiotherapy is crucial and often requires a longer duration, as
There are many techniques for spinal adjustment. Physiotherapy therapy methods include chiropractic manipulative therapy (soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization, adjustments with mechanical assistance, and manual adjustments), clinical nutrition, and physiotherapy aids. Your spine may require one or more adjustments, and the physiotherapy therapist will use appropriate techniques based on biomechanical leverage principles to correct misalignments, allowing the spine to return to its normal function. Physiotherapy therapists may use various medical devices to assist with treatment, targeting stiff spinal joints. For example, ultrasound therapy can enhance blood circulation and alleviate pain. In some cases, 3D spinal traction therapy is combined to adjust herniated discs through twisting, relaxing, and traction techniques to accelerate recovery, often alongside a comprehensive physical exercise program.

Under normal circumstances, physiotherapy therapy should not cause pain. However, patients with recent injuries, such as acute neck sprains that lead to inflammation, may experience mild discomfort. Similarly, during nerve decompression adjustments, it is common to feel brief changes.
Many patients believe they can manage their pain and perform exercises on their own. In reality, physiotherapists possess specialized skills developed through three years of university training. Each patient's condition is unique, with different body types, exercise methods, adjustment capabilities, and lifestyle habits. The physiotherapist’s role is to conduct soft tissue therapy while correcting poor habits and adjusting activity levels. An essential part of physiotherapy is patient education. Physiotherapists can explain injuries and functional impairments in detail, guide correct adjustments, and advise on preventing re-injury. The focus of physiotherapy is on education, correction, and prevention.
Injuries to the neck and spine can occur at any age, but parents may overlook the impact of these injuries, potentially affecting the development of muscles, bones, and the nervous system in adolescents. Early spinal assessments can detect many spinal issues, allowing for timely treatment and correction.
Even without symptoms, physiotherapy therapy can help maintain your body in optimal health and comfort. Your physiotherapy therapist can suggest preventive measures for spinal issues, such as proper posture, dietary habits, and health exercises. Regular spinal check-ups can help identify misalignment problems caused by spinal compression early on.
Pregnant women experience additional weight and pressure, and physiotherapy therapy can help alleviate discomfort in the lower back, legs, and shoulders. It can also address issues like headaches and dizziness without medication, making it a common choice for many pregnant women. However, it is wise to ask your physiotherapy therapist about their experience with pregnant patients during the initial consultation.
