脊骨物理療程流程

Appointment

After understanding the benefits of spinal treatment, patients generally schedule an appointment with a physiotherapist. The booking process is simple and quick; you can contact us via our Online Booking System, WhatsApp, email, or by filling out the personal information and appointment details on the “Contact Us” page. We will get back to you as soon as possible and will do our best to assist you in arranging the most convenient location and time for your consultation. We have over 25 pain centers located throughout Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories. If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to contact us.

What to wear and bring

There is no specific dress code for the treatment; however, it is recommended that patients wear comfortable clothing to avoid any inconvenience during spinal examinations or physical tests. If needed, we provide clothing/shorts for you to change into.

Before spinal check up

Upon arrival at the center, our professional pain management team will require you to fill out a medical history form and complete a pain index assessment to help your physiotherapist understand your lifestyle and health status.

Consultation & Examination

Your physiotherapist will thoroughly review your physical condition and past medical history, addressing any concerns you may have about your pain. Following this, a comprehensive examination of your spine, muscles, and soft tissue structures will be conducted, and the need for X-rays will be determined based on your condition.

Symptoms Explanation

After the initial examination, your physiotherapist will carefully explain the reasons behind your pain and discomfort. Before the treatment, they will discuss the most suitable treatment methods and recommend specific therapies needed to help you achieve your health goals.

矯正改善

The physiotherapist will use manual techniques or instruments to correct the misalignments in your spine, applying pressure in specific directions to restore spinal mobility and alignment. In some cases, instruments may also be used to detect subluxations and spinal misalignments.

Report of findings

During your follow-up visit, we will explain the X-ray and other examination reports in detail, helping you understand the spinal adjustments and care process you will undergo. The physiotherapist will scan your spine and compare the images obtained with an ideal spinal model. We will point out any discrepancies found in the comparison and outline the treatment direction and methods based on those findings.

Spinal Health Advice

The physiotherapist will provide advice regarding your daily life and work habits to enhance your spinal health, improve your posture, and suggest appropriate stretching exercises that you can do at home or during breaks at work. Through our joint efforts, we aim to help you quickly restore your health to an optimal state. After completing the adjustments, you should begin to notice improvements in your pain.
